Since the Tom Ridge Environmental Center's (TREC) opening in May 2006, over 670,000 students, local residents and out of town guests have participated in our programs and activities. Over 128,000 individuals have seen movies on the Big Green Screen.

We are one of the very few known facilities worldwide that engages a full range of students from elementary education level through the Ph.D. level researchers in the field of nature and our environment.

The Friends of TREC's continued success is due to the caring people and community-minded companies who choose to support the learning and discovery at TREC…located at the gateway of the picturesque Presque Isle State Park.
