Join us, as we will be honoring Dr. James K. Bissell, the 2011 John C. Oliver Environmental Leadership Award recipient with a special presentation by Governor Tom Ridge. Chef Kal Darres of the Sunset Caféat TREC is preparing an outstanding menu! Highlights include roasted pork, chicken kabobs, baked brie, deserts and an interactive station with sautéed mushrooms in a basil cream sauce served in a crepe shell.
Chef Darres is a premier chef in the Erie region. In addition to operating the Sunset Café, he owns and operates Petra Restaurant- an authentic Eastern Mediterranean restaurant that has been serving Erie since 2004. The Sunset Café is a Gold sponsor the for the 2011 Sunset Celebration.
Beverages:
Fresh handcrafted ales to be provided at the Sunset Celebration courtesy of The Brew Erie At Union Station, a Bronze sponsor. We will also be serving local wine & soft drinks.
Music:
James Madden & Friends will be providing a variety of music including swing, jazz, ballads, and even some contemporary pieces.
